La Preciosa is our first homebred. By Arrasas out of Morning Star, she is a big 3 year bay filly. Whilst her father may not be a "fashionable" stallion, there is no doubting his fantastic breeding, being a half brother to Maroof and Sabaah the dam of the great Desert King. (Winner of the Irish 2000 Guineas and Irish Derby)
The Great Man o War can be traced back from Arrasas’s dam Dish Dash and La Preciosa’s own dam, Morning Star is the half sister to 4 winners included Avezzano, placed in a Grade 3 in the US
La Preciosa has been slow to come to hand as not only is she still growing but she needed time to mature and now that she has reached this stage, we can step her up in her work.
